While not every birder is a photographer, birding and photography often go hand-in-hand. To that end, West Volusia Audubon founded the Lyonia Photography Club, a growing community of photographers of all skill levels that hosts monthly meetings and hikes at the Lyonia Environmental Center in Deltona.
There is no cost to join the club, and signing up is as simple as joining the group on Facebook.
The club is not just about Lyonia and not even limited to nature photography – it is a community for people to share, learn, and bond with their fellow photographers.
The Lyonia Photography Club hosts outings from time to time including at Lyonia Preserve, and the work of club members has been featured in the Lyonia Gallery at the Lyonia Environmental Center.
